Two New Musicals Are Coming This Year!
Clive Nolan: "As I announced at “The Fire and the Quest” weekend, it is my intention to write and record two musicals this year. This will be a mammoth undertaking, but it’s high time I moved on to new adventures!
The first, provisionally entitled “Dark Fables”, will be a modern tale based around music I have written over the last 25 years. My original concept will be developed by director Ian Baldwin, whose exceptional creative talent will ensure a tantalizing story. This show, for rock band and five singers, will be designed so that we can take it out on tour. In addition to the stage set there will also be interactive video material featuring numerous special guests.
The second show, which will be titled “King’s Ransom”, will be set in the “Alchemy universe”. It will feature Professor King, Eva and William, alongside exciting new characters and a brand new adventure. This story takes place two years after the events of “Alchemy”, and explores the underworld of Victorian London with a big dose of romance, intrigue and adventure. I have already written about half of the musical material and the storyline is complete, which means that most of the characters have been cast and I can already see the makings of a thrilling new show!
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Clive Nolan: "I'd like to wish everyone a magical Christmas and a very Happy New Year! Thank you so much to all who have been involved in the shows, and all of you who have supported them... Lets do it again next year... bigger and better!" ;)
"The Gift" is a Christmas song written by Clive Nolan in 2008 and originally released as a hidden track on Caamora live compilation album "Journey's End... An Acoustic Anthology". Here it is again to listen and enjoy at this festive season!

Gemma Louise Edwards Cast as Queen Ayesha!
The role of Queen Ayesha in the forthcoming production of Clive Nolan's "She the Musical" in the Netherlands will be performed by Gemma Louise Edwards. Gemma joined the Caamora Theatre Company earlier this year and dazzled the audience with her rendition of the tragic Ustane in the jubilee production of the show in Cheltenham. "She in Concert", featuring the fully revived cast, the band and the chorus, will be performed at the Zoetermeer Cultuurpodium Boerderij on January 30th.
Gemma: "I am excited to be stepping into Queen Ayesha shoes for this upcoming production. I have some big boots to fill as Victoria Bolley is wonderful in this role! I am looking forward to putting my own spin on the songs and the character of Queen Ayesha. Thank you to Clive for offering me the opportunity to explore this fabulous role. I can't wait to perform again with all the wonderful Caamora family."
